Sri ManoharRandhari Will the Chief Minister be pleased to state, What are the types of government quarters & their numbers available for government employees in Bhubaneswar & what steps have been taken for construction of new government quarters in Bhubaneswar during the current financial year ?

Answer:

11374 quarters are available for government employees in Bhubaneswar out of which 575 are of Higher Type, 1094 are of Middle Type, and 9705 are of Lower Type.
Steps have been taken for construction of

1. 72 quarters in BJB Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs.8,22,64,000/-
2. 96 quarters near Sainik School Area with an estimated cost of Rs.13,33,93,822/-
3. 188 quarters with an estimated cost of Rs.21,87,76,327/- in Unit-VIII Area out of which during the first phase 52 quarters with an estimated cost of Rs.6,94,55,000/- will be constructed.

In BJB Nagar Area, 72 quarters are going to be completed shortly. Steps are being taken to start the construction of quarters in other areas i.e. Unit-VIII & near Sainik School soon.
